BBC Sport wanted us to help bring their filmed interview with Olympic boxing hopeful Caroline Dubois to life by animating some incredible moments of her story. The goal was to celebrate and help share her story, from having to pretend to be a boy in the gym aged eight, to achieving her dream of qualifying for the Olympics.
Behind the Scenes
This was an incredibly fun project to work on. We could see so much of Caroline’s personality in the original interview, and her stories were so vivid it was easy to visualise them. We had no brand guidelines to constrain colour or style, so were able to work in a very loose and expressive painterly style to capture the emotional and colourful highs and lows of her story.
